I find this to be a very well laid-out book for DIY. Graphic illustrations are far more helpful than the photographs you usually find in books, and the wiring diagrams enable you to visage how things will fit in your specific situation. I also appreciated the introduction to power and how it is transported to your home, then distributed throughout. I use this as my first step whenever I am getting into a wiring project, new or renovation.
