I wasn't sure if I liked this story that much at the beginning. It has gotten better and better. The characters are likable and the good guys winning so far even though it has been a struggle.It seems more real than many of the survival\prepper stories in that these are ordinary people doing things that they have not been trained for. It is hard to envision a good ending though due to their inexperience and lack of preparation. Looking forward to the next book!
