I have followed the Welsh progressive band Magenta for years, but somehow missed this album when it first came out - and then it became unavailable. Finally, I found a copy from an Amazon Marketplace seller (thank you!) and got to hear it. What a fantastic experience! With the exception of the last two or three tracks, gone is the somewhat bombastic (but enjoyable) sound of progressive rock that Magenta did so well on albums like Revolutions and the magnificent Metamorphosis. (Seven isn't bad either, but it's by no means my favorite of their works.) Home is a much more personal album with a more intimate sound. For some reason, the album reminds me of the Yes sound, but not the excesses of Yes. Lead singer Christina Booth is always wonderful to listen to, but she really shines on this album. There was, perhaps, only one track (and I can't remember which, but it was around tracks 10 or 11 - can't check right now) that didn't totally thrill me. I give my highest recommendation to this album. It's a pity it's not kept in print, nor still distributed with the New York Stories disc which I still do not own and have not heard.
