The odd thing about this CD is that the best song, one of the greatest of the last ten years, is the very last, meaning that reviewers probably never heard it. The song is called "In Mississippi," and it alone is worth the price of the disc or download. It's about a New Orleans loser who cannot stand much more of his increasingly dangerous life, and plots an escape to Mississippi, where he obviously has never been.Beside this song, destined to become classic, there are eight or so more that could hold up to radio play, and no clunkers at all, making this album ideal IPod fodder.West was in New Orleans for a while but I heard he moved to Kansas.
