? Awww... Laney and Jackson! Their story is just as fantastic as I thought it would be! I am not even going to lie.... there was a time or 2 when I wanted to back hand Jackson! It was really frustrating to me ? when he would try to be there for her, kiss her, touch her.... basically not let her move on despite the fact that he ultimately wanted her to move on. And all because he was jealous! Jealous of the waiter.... then jealous of a guy that she knew before him.... I honestly was thinking to myself "How self centered can this guy get???" The only reason why I did not write him off a lot sooner was because I knew how good his heart was from the part he played in helping Jimmy and Ramsey get together (in Glimmer.... if you haven't read it.... DO IT!!!) I had never read anything by Ashley Munoz until this week and then I totally went on a binge! I love these books. I think that her writing style is just phenomenal. This book was not as long as Glimmer (but still quite a few pages) but it didn't feel like the story was dragging on at any point. Some "wordy" authors spend a lot of time telling you things that do not matter much, but I can honestly say that I did not, in the 2 books and 1 novella that I read by her, did I ever feel like the story was dragging. Everything written felt important! So much love for this book! So much love for all of these characters that have burrowed themselves into my heart! I can not wait to read what Ashley comes up with next!
