Only having been exposed to Mr. Kapono on a couple of Jimmy Buffet tunes, I wasn't sure what I was getting when I ordered, but was buoyed by all the positive reviews herewith. I need not have been concerned - this is an excellent album of feel good, tropically influenced songs in the rather unique voicing of Henry Kapono. Not your standard Hawaii fare to be sure, but Hawaii with a rock'n roll attitude. I more than like it, having had it on continuous play since arrival, and will be looking for more. Great party flavored album and fits right in with my Jimmy Buffet collection.Sorry it took me so long to catch on.
